Bonfire Night Shines Bright with Hot Dogs and Toffee Apple Treats! Bonfire Bonanza

This November, our Bonfire Night themed lunch brought excitement, colour, and plenty of delicious food to primary schools across the area. Designed especially for younger pupils, the promotion turned an ordinary lunchtime into a cosy autumn celebration.

A Menu That Went Off With a Bang

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the food itself. Our classic Bonfire Night hot dogs were an instant favourite, with children across our primary schools tucking in and coming back with big smiles. Served in soft rolls and paired with warming sides, they brought that traditional bonfire‑style flavour children look forward to at this time of year.

For dessert, the star of the show was our toffee apple sponge. Inspired by the flavours of the season, it combined soft sponge cake with a sweet toffee apple topping—an autumn treat that pupils absolutely loved. Many children told our catering teams it was their favourite pudding of the term!

Creating a Fun and Festive Atmosphere

Dining halls were decorated with colourful Bonfire Night displays, helping to create a sense of excitement and celebration. Themed food labels, vibrant visuals, and friendly conversations about Bonfire Night traditions all added to the experience.

Thank You to Our School Teams
