Taste The Music 

Our pupils recently embarked on a vibrant journey across Europe as part of this year’s Taste the Music primary theme day, inspired by the excitement and spectacle of Eurovision. The spotlight was on Sweden, a country renowned for both its rich musical heritage and impressive Eurovision history, as well as its distinctive and comforting cuisine.

To bring the experience to life, children were treated to a delicious Swedish-inspired meal. The menu featured classic Swedish meatballs, served with crispy potato puffs and complemented by a rich, creamy sauce. For dessert, pupils enjoyed a slice of indulgent Austrian Sachertorte, adding a sweet European twist to the day while celebrating Austria as the Eurovision 2025 winners and this year’s contest hosts.

Throughout the event, pupils immersed themselves in the music, culture and flavours of Europe. From exploring different traditions to celebrating iconic songs, the day was filled with energy, creativity and discovery.

It was a fantastic opportunity to bring Eurovision to life in a fun and memorable way—uniting food, music and culture in a truly engaging celebration.
